Chances are that you were working in an office prior to the pandemic and left in March 2020, hoping to return within a few weeks or even a few months. Now, more than year later, remote work seems to be destined to endure. Many companies have publicly contemplated switching to a remote-first culture. Although many people have had some time to adapt to working remotely, it can still be difficult to convert our homes, that are primarily comfortable places to rest, into productive professional workspaces. We sought advice from both professionals who worked from home prior to COVID-19 as well as professionals who had successfully converted their homes to workspaces to help us understand what we need.
